Fiorentina will compensate Barça if Cristian Tello doesn't play

Cristian Tello arrives in Florence this Monday to undergo a medical and rejoin the Fiorentina side of Paulo Sousa.

FC Barcelona and the 'Viola' agreed a loan deal for the forward for the 2016/17 season.

According to 'Marca' newspaper, the Catalan club have ensured that the player will get time on the pitch with the Serie A outfit.

If this doesn't happen, Barça will receive financial compensation.

To begin with, the Blaugrana will be paid 500,000 euros for the loan deal. From there, the penalty clause will vary between one and three million euros, based on the games that Tello plays.

If the Barcelona youth-team product participates in less than 70% of official games this season, Fiorentina will have to pay one million euros to Barça.

The amount will rise to two million euros in the case that he participates in less than 60% of the games.

The maximum penalty hits three million euros, in the case that Tello does not play in half of the official matches this season.

In the agreement, Fiorentina also have an option to buy the player at the end of the season for an amount of 7.5 million euros.
