Denis Suarez shines against his next side, Barcelona

Denis Suarez, who will return to Barcelona at the end of the season, with the club set to activate his buy-back clause, was one of the best players on the pitch in the game on Sunday. 

The versatile Villarreal star - he can play in midfield and also attack - shone in the 2-2 draw, and here played on the right of the central midfield area. Inside a classic 4-4-2, Suarez helped make life harder for Alba and Arda Turan.

The former Man City and Barcelona B player impressed with the ball at his feet. He created a lot, making plays for his team. His best moment came in the second half. A great dribble and shot which Bravo saved, but the ball fell into Bakambu's path and he took full advantage. It was Villarreal's way back into the match, reducing Barcelona's lead to 2-1.

The young central midfielder showed, once again, he's good enough to play for Barcelona in the immediate future. A footballer with great technique, attacking spirit and blaugrana DNA, Luis Enrique isn't mistaken in bringing the player back for next year's project.
