Davinson Sanchez signing hits a bump for Barça B

Barça B are closing in on the acquisition of Davinson Sanchez after both the Catalan club and Atletico Nacional agreed terms a few weeks ago.

The Colombian himself, however, has become the main obstacle of the transfer after speaking out against the Blaugrana.

Davinson, who recently turned 20, and his agent, Nestor Villarreal, noted that the player had been reluctant to seal the deal "because he believes that he's fit to play in a team that is in the Primera Division".

Therefore, he's reluctant to take what he sees as a step back with Barça B, but it could be a strategic move for his career.

Barça and Atletico Nacional had agreed a transfer ranging between 3.5 and 4 million euros.
