Dani Alves wants to complete Barça contract

Dani Alves has published some words on his Twitter account in reaction to the rumours which surround his future at Barcelona.

The Brazil right-back has a year to run on his contract at Camp Nou, but he has been heavily linked with a move away from the club this summer.

"I would like to refute the information which has been invented about my future which is disrespectful," he wrote.

Meanwhile, speaking to reporters on Tuesday, the 31-year-old insisted that he is very happy at Barça and hopes to spend the next 12 months working with Luis Enrique.

"I would like to complete the contract I have," he said.

"With regards [to Enrique], I need to talk with him. I really hope that we can work together.

"My wish is to see out the rest of my contract, but we will have to come to a mutual agreement.

"We will sit down and discuss it and decide whether I continue or not."
