Dani Alves wants Barcelona to hand him a new three-year deal

Barcelona have an added problem in the negotiations with Dani Alves over a new deal.

The Brazilian right-back is annoyed with the club over the attitude they have shown in the last couple of months.

Until now, they have shown little interest in talking about new terms.

He hasn't forgotten that some people at the club tried to sell him last summer, either.

For that reason, despite the fact he's in Luis Enrique's plans and playing well, Alves hasn't forgot the bad feeling between him and some of the club's hierarchy.

Aware that he turns 32 in the summer, he wants a long deal, at least three years

It's likely to be the last big contract he signs.

Everything is against the Blaugrana and Alves is also aware that the transfer ban imposed by FIFA limits their options for next season.

Alves has been waiting for months for the new offer to arrive and he is disgruntled at how long things have taken.

However, he still wants to stay because he is happy at Camp Nou and feels loved by the dressing room

One of the rumours is that Barça are prepared to offer him two years, although it will be for less than he is earning now (around €8million annually).

There will be variable based on his performance, but Alves doesn't want to accept such a deal.
