Bravo: If I was worried by Ter Stegen, I'd jump on a plane & get to pre-season early

Claudio Bravo is still enjoying some time off after his success at the Copa America with Chile. And in quotes made to Cooperativa de Chile, the goalkeeper has given his opinion on Marc-Andre ter Stegen's decision to return to Barcelona training early.

"If I was worried, I would jump on a plane and get to pre-season early, but that's not the case. I know my characteristics, I know what I have to do," Bravo explained.

For the Barça stopper, holiday time is very important: "The truth is that to arrive [at the new season] in good form, you need to have some good time off. Your body has to recover; your head, too. You don't want to wear yourself out."

Bravo will return to Luis Enrique's squad at the beginning of August. It's when Lionel Messi, who played in the Copa America final as well, will also return to training with FC Barcelona.

Between Ter Stegen and Bravo there is expected to be a good battle for the gloves this season. With the Chilean in goal, Barça won La Liga; with the German, they won the Champions League and the Copa del Rey.

Both have displayed that they're at a good level and want to be Barça's No.1. Luis Enrique, like last season, will have the final word.
