Carles Alena: Barcelona's best player? Andres Iniesta
The Blagurana youth starlet has an idol in the first team and, for once, it isn't Lionel Messi
Carles Alena, one of the key players at Barcelona B, spoke to Weloba.cat in an interview and told them that Andres Iniesta is, for him, the best Barcelona player and that he hopes to play with him one day.
"Iniesta is my idol, he's spectacular, he's the best player Barcelona has. He makes the difference," said Alena.
Asked about his feelings in the B team, Alena said "I am very happy, it's my last year as a Juvenil player and I'm proud of playing for Barcelona B. It was a dream for me to play in that side and I'm making it come true. Now I have to adapt bit by bit to the level and try to play as much as possible, do everything the coach asks of me. We are working for the objective of reaching Segunda A."
Alena recognised his weakness. "My weak point is dfending, it's tough for me as a more attacking player, but this is the time to work on it, I'm only 18 years old."
