Braida: Gabriel Jesus is a kid with talent, he's a little Neymar

Barcelona's director of international football Ariedo Braida took part in 'La Politica del Balon' on RAI italiana and Calciomercato have reported some of his comments.

Braida referred to several names currently related to Barça, among them Gabriel Jesus, who has become one of the club's primary objectives to strengthen their forward line. Real Madrid are trying to get in front of the Catalan club in the race for the Brazilian's signature

"Gabriel Jesus is a kid with talent, he's a little Neymar," Braida said.

Despite that, Braida tried to lower expecations and remove the pressure on the teenage forward: "In my opinion, he has the talent to stand out, but he still has to demonstrate it. There are players who are expected to do great things in the future that don't pass the quality test."

Braida also spoke about Javier Mascherano's situation, confirming that the Argentine "will stay at Barcelona, 100 per cent," even though the player was contemplating an offer from Juventus before the Copa America.

Now, Mascherano is studying a new contract offer from the Catalan club, who want to resolve the situation and keep him at Camp Nou.

Finally, Braida commented on Milan full-back Mattia De Sciglio's situation. The Italy international has been linked with Barça in the past. "He's done many good things, after dipping a little, he's recovered his level. I predict he'll get [even] better, but I don't think Milan will let him go."
