Blind's agent refuses to play down Barça link

Daley Blind's agent, Rob Jansen, has been speaking to 'Voetbal International' about the rumours linking the Ajax player with a move to Barcelona.

"There are a lot clubs interested in Daley," Jansen confirmed.

"We must wait and see what happens when the market begins to move."

Asked directly about Barça's reported interest, Jansen answered very enigmaticly.

"At the moment there is nothing concrete," he said.

"But today's rumours could be tomorrow's reality."

Elsewhere, Blind's manager at Ajax, former Barcelona player Frank de Boer, has told a press conference that "it would be nice if [Blind] stayed with us for at least one more year."

The defender, who has a contract until 2016, has been in the city of Barcelona this weekend enjoying some time off after the World Cup.

In Holland's run to the semi-final he was particulatly impressive, notably in the Dutch's opening game against Spain.
