Barcelona permit Brazil youngster Gerson to sign for Chelsea
Kenedy is leaving Fluminense and will go to Mourinho's Chelsea. The 19-year-old forward is one of the young Tricolor players which Barça paid a 3.2 million euro fee in order to secure the ability to have first refusal on any future bid.
Barcelona have ruled out the possibility of a bid, because they do not want to enact their first-choice bid for the Chelsea offer of 10 million dollars.
Kenedy is a physical striker, and for this reason, in his country he is likened to Hulk of Zenit St. Petersburg. He came through the Fluminense youth academy, breaking into the first team in 2014 and, after playing in the U20 Sudamericano this year, he will have a definite starting place next season. His style of play will be more relevant to the Premier League than Luis Enrique's Barça.
Barça still have their clause on central midfielder Gerson, who is a big target, and also central defender Marlon, who recently played in the U20 World Cup in New Zealand.
