Barcelona interested in signing goalkeeper Alphonse Areola

Barcelona are looking at various alternatives to take the space that Claudio Bravo will leave. Once he heads to Manchester City, the Blaugrana will need a goalkeeper who will accept a role of playing in the Copa del Rey, with La Liga and the Champions League set to be Ter Stegen's business. 

The first option is Diego Alves. The Valencia goalkeeper is preferred by the technical team at hte club, but he has a lot of suitors. Barcelona believe Alves has the profile to become the goalkeeper that Luis Enrique wants. 

Another option is Pepe Reina, who has offered himself to Barcelona. He would accept the role of substitute and lower his salary to join. But there is another option too. The signing of Alphonse Areola has been discussed. The PSG goalkeeper was on loan at Villarreal last season. 

He was part of the France team that won the U20 World Cup in 2013, playing with Umtiti, Digne, Pogba and others.
