Barça star Gerard Pique blows up at the police after they dish out a fine

Gerard Pique has had a controversial new episode with the Guàrdia Urbana in Barcelona after he lost his temper in the Port Olimpic area of Barcelona.

The incident involving the Catalan centre-back reportedly took place in the early hours of Monday morning after he had returned from Spain's win over Luexmbourg.

According to 'La Vanguardia', Pique's brother, Marc Pique, was fined for a traffic violation, and the Barça player was then accused of a lack of respect towards the two police officers.

Supposedly, the Urbana dished out the punishment because the brothers had "stopped for 15 minutes in a bus zone, obstructing the movement of taxis and the like in the zone."

Gerard Pique, it's been reported, did not agree with the accusation and got out of his car and exploded.

"You are envious of me because I am famous," he blasted, before apparently continuing on the following rant:

"You are fining me because you are on commission, because you have no money and you need to make commission.

"I'm going to speak with your bosses and get you reprimanded.

"You think you are masters of the world because you wear that uniform and fine people.

"Your father's going to pay this fine - I'm not.

"You are a disgrace. Your work makes me sick and the Guàrdia Urbana is a fucking embarrassment

Pique's brother, who had remained inside the vehicle, was the person who had actually received the fine.

Although only for a few moments, because Pique had snatched it from his hands and thrown it back at the officers.

Afterwards, Pique and his brother whent to a casino which is nearby where the incident took place.
