Ariedo Braida: Pedro will stay... and we like Mateo Kovacic

Ariedo Braida spoke on Friday with FCinternews, where he made clear a few aspects of Barcelona's transfer plan.

He said that, despite FIFA's transfer ban, "nothing stops us making verbal agreements with a view to [signing players] January."

In terms of actual transfers concerning individual players, he spoke about two movements. One in, one out.

Mateo Kovacic, 21, at Inter Milan, is a transfer target for the Catalan giants.

"Por the moment I can't talk, there's nothing concrete. But of course, we can't deny that we like the player and he has quality," said Braida.

He also spoke about Pedro Rodriguez's Barcelona future

"Pedro is and will continue being a Barcelona player. He is a very important player for us. He has a contract and will continue at the Camp Nou, especially taking into account our transfer ban."

Finally, Braida did not want to speak about a potential Inter Milan move for Alex Song, who is on loan at West Ham.

Braida said: "This you would have to speak to Inter about."
