Andres Iniesta's optimistic injury return message for Barcelona fans
FC Barcelona captain Andres Iniesta is a day closer to receiving his medical clearance to play and returning to help the team at a crucial stage of the season. The player feels optimistic that he can return soon and wanted to share that feeling with his fans.
“Keeping on taking steps to be able to return to the team. So much enthusiasm!” said Iniesta on an Instagram post.
The player got injured in the Copa del Rey against Real Sociedad, and medics determined he would only be out for a couple of weeks with a calf problem. He still has not trained with the group but hopes to be able to rejoin that by the end of this week.
