Andres Iniesta injury not serious, should make Champions League final

Barcelona have ruled out the idea that Andres Iniesta has suffered a muscle tear, and still think he can make the Champions League final on June 6.

Iniesta was one of the players who came to the Ciutat Esportiva training complex on Monday despite it being a rest day.

Xavi Hernandez, Thomas Vermaelen, Javier mascherano and Neymar were also present, working on different exercises or fulfilling commitments.

But Iniesta was the centre of attention, after he was substituted in the Copa del Rey final against Athletic Club, because of pain.

The different tests show that he has not suffered a tear, relief for Luis Enrique and the medical team, and he will probably be able to play in the final. He will continue his recovery in training.

Barcelona are holding an open session tomorrow before holding several press conferences, as part of the UEFA open media day.
