Dani Alves: "I have come to Italy to win"

Dani Alves has made his first comments as a Juventus player. Speaking to TV channel Sportitalia, he has outlined his intention to maintain the competitive level he showed in his time at both Sevilla and Barcelona.

Alves said: "I am always happy, but the time had come to make a change in my career. I have won a lot with Barcelona, but now is the moment to enjoy Italy and Juventus, and to try to win in Europe with this team.

I said goodbye to the Barcelona fans, but it was not really a goodbye, more a 'see you soon' as I will continue to be a Barça fan."

Michela Russo, the journalist that interviewed Alves, explained that the Brazilian has changed his Whatsapp profile picture to an image of him as a prison inmate, with a black-and-white striped uniform and cap, resembling the colours of Juventus.
