The Italian coach is not likely to play either of them in the game against Napoli

Pjaca is out for a long time and will need surgery but those two might be back for the Champions League clash

Massimiliano Allegri is preparing for his Juventus side to take on Barcelona in the Champions League, but things are complicated for him. He has lost Croatian midfielder Marko Pjaca for the rest of the season and has Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic as potential doubts.

Ahead of his team’s trip to Napoli this week the Old Lady’s coach will keep both of them in cotton wool ahead of the clash with Barcelona. Mandzukic suffered an inflammation of his knee in training on Wednesday—so his injury didn’t come from the FIFA virus. On Thursday he did not train with the the rest of his team-mates but the club believes within 48 hours the pain will subside. If the player recovers well he can start in the Italian Cup semi final second leg, also against Napoli, on Wednesday.

Dybala had to be taken off against Sampdoria in the 28th minute 10 days ago with a strain, and then for precaution he was not picked to play for Argentina, although he did make the trip to South America. Furthermore defender Medhi Benatia is also out injured although he is not a regular feature in the side.
