Montoya's agent says player will "100 percent" leave Barcelona in January

Martin Montoya will definitely leave Barcelona in January, according to his agent Juan de Dios Carrasco.

The right-back has found himself behind Dani Alves and Douglas in Luis Enrique's plans this season, with Adriano also seemingly preferred ahead of him.

Understandably, Montoya has grown frustrated with the lack of football.

"In [Luis Enrique's] plans and system, he has no place for [Montoya] and he is behind both Dani Alves and Douglas," Carrasco told Radio Marca on Friday.

"He will leave Barcelona 100 percent when the transfer window opens.

"Now we only want to find the best club for Martin, in order to serve his progression [as a footballer].

"There are clubs in Germany, England and Italy that are trying to sign him."

According to Carrasco, Barça had offered the player the chance to leave on an 18 month loan deal, but the 23-year-old would prefer to make a permanent transfer.

Any potential sale is likely to include a buy-back option for the Catalans.
