Abusive fans get Barcelona boss Luis Enrique confused for singer

It's become part of the modern game. Everytime a game ends, and even during it, thousands of people use their social media accounts to discuss what had happened.

With the Clasico, the opinions go into overdrive.

And while some people were commenting on what had ocurred at the Bernabeu on Saturday - where Real Madrid beat Barcelona - others, of a more radical nature, were insulting the players.

Luis Enrique, Barça's boss, was also in the spotlight.

However, if you send a tweet to @LuisEnrique, your Tweet won't find the Catalan's coach, because that account doesn't belong to him.

It is an account ran by the Nicaraguan singer, Luis Enrique, who has more than 600,000 followers.

Barça's boss, on the other hand, can be found at @LuisEnrique21 (the number he wore on his shirt as a player).

The people aiming the abuse weren't bothered about checking, though, and sent a string of insults towards the singer.

He quickly reacted by sending some of his own tweets out to clarify he was not, in face, the Barcelona boss.

"For football fans writing to Barcelona manager Luis Enrique, I regret to inform you that this is not his account," he wrote.

Woops.
