Thiago Alcantara could play against Borussia Dortmund, confirms Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola

Thiago Alcantara finally sees the light at the end of the tunnel and this Saturday could reappear for Bayern Munich, in their huge clash against Borussia Dortmund.

The former Barcelona cantera star played his last game on March 29, 2014, against Hoffenheim, where he was injured after 25 minutes.

Since then, he has been enduring a terrible ordeal, with a relapse early this season causing him to wonder whether he'd even make it to the pitch before next year.

"He could be used against Borussia," confirmed Guardiola on Friday, asked during his press conference before Saturday's clash at the Westfalenstadion.

Guardiola has a different injury worry now, with David Alaba set to miss seven weeks, although Philip Lahm is making his comeback slowly but surely, and could start.
