Bayern Munich announce €900million deal with Adidas to run from 2020 until 2030

Bayern Munich will continue with Adidas until 2030 after announcing a new agreement with the German company that will be worth 900 million euros from 2020 onwards.

The announcement, that was made after Pep Guardiola's side were knocked out of the cup to Borussia Dortmund, is the consolidation of a relationship between the sports company and Bayern -- Adidas own 9% of the club's shares.

In fact, the swiftness of the agreeement has come as a surprise because the current deal was not up for renewal until 2020.

However, Bayern will earn 100 million euros less than Manchester United. The English side, who will wear Adidas next season, ending a 13 year agreement with Nike, recently signed a 1,000 million deal for the years 2015 to 2025.

The intention of Adidas is to grow their relationships "with the best teams and international sides", said Oliver Brügger, the company's spokesman.
