Terror attacks: Belgium v Portugal could be suspended after blasts

The Belgian national team's friendly at the Brussels' King Badouin Stadium on Tuesday, March 29 is in doubt after suspected terrorist bomb attacks in the city today.

The airport and metro system were targeted and training was cancelled out of respect for the victims. The game, which sees Barcelona defender Thomas Vermaelen set to take on Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo, could be suspended or cancelled.

Defender Jan Vertonghen wrote on Twitter: "Can't believe I'm reading these things again..." and Liverpool goalkeeper Mignolet tweeted: "#Zaventem", which refers to the location of Brussels Airport.

Meanwhile, Man United winger Adnan Januzaj wrote: "Horrible to see what is going on in Brussels #Zaventem".
