Neymar off form as Brazil labour to victory over Austria in Vienna

Neymar's scoring streak for his country came to an end as Brazil beat Austria 2-1 in Vienna.

The Barcelona forward's run of goals had included four in a win against Japan last month, but it was David Luiz and Roberto Firmino who hit the target here. Aleksandar Dragovic scored the host's goal from the penalty spot.

After the debate surrounding the way Thiago Silva was replaced as captain, Neymar once again led his country out, while the Paris Saint-Germain defender was left on the bench. Atletico Madrid's Miranda was Dunga's choice to partner Luiz in the middle of Brazil's back four.

Silva was soon thrown into the action, though, as Miranda hobbled off in the first half - a worrying sight for Atletico and Diego Simeone.

We had to wait until beyond the hour mark for the first goal. Oscar's corner wasn't dealt with and Luiz was able to head home from six yards out. After supplying Luiz, though, Oscar was then guilty of giving away the spot kick which let Austria back into the game.

His clumsy challenge wasn't needed; Dragovic sent the keeper the wrong way.

But with a draw seemingly on the cards, Firmino pulled a rabbit from a hat. Neymar was involved in the build up, although this goal was all about the well-struck finish from 25 yards out.

Brazil, under Dunga, have now won every match they've played since the World Cup - and that includes a 2-0 success over Argentina.
