Lionel Messi told Kun Aguero that Pep Guardiola is "impressive"

Sergio Aguero is now in Buenos Aires to enjoy his holidays, before he starts preparing for the Copa America with Argentina on Monday. The Manchester City forward admitted that the Albiceleste are favourites and are obliged to win the tournament. He also spoke of Guardiola, his next coach at Manchester City.

"We hope that he adapts quickly to the team. Leo (Messi) told me Pep is impressive and all the players that know him speak very well of him. He's a coach that puts a lot of pressure on, and sometimes the players need that. I think his arrival could be important for us. We hope that he suits the team, it's fundamental this year to advance a bit further."

The arrival of Guardiola at City means Manuel Pellegrini is leaving, a coach with whom Kun spent "three very good years". "I think the balance was quite good," said Aguero. "With Manuel I got on well from the start and I am very grateful. We had a great team but not to get past the semi-finals. We had an average tournament and the individual (stars) helped us get that far. We know that City is a big club, but still we're not ready to win it."

Argentina

Argentina coach Tata Martino has a tough decision to make. Who to start up front, Kun Aguero or Gonzalo Higuain? "Tata will decide that. Pipa broke a historic record in Italy, and we will have to see what the coach decides. We are Argentina and we always go out to win."
