Brazil edge past Chile as Medel gets away with stamping on Neymar

Neymar played 90 minutes for Brazil as they beat Chile 1-0 at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon, but the Barcelona star was lucky to come through the match without picking up an injury

Chile made it quite clear from the start that they had a particular way to attempt to deal with Neymar's threat.

He was on the receiving end of several big challenges, while Gary Medel even went as far as stamping on Barça's No.11

While Neymar was on the ground, the former Sevilla player quite clearly dug his studs into his legs.

However, referee Martin Atkinson missed the incident and Medel was allowed to continue.

Roberto Firmino scored the only goal of the game in the second half, taking the ball around Claudio Bravo and slotting it into the empty net.

As well as Bravo and Neymar, former Barça man Alexis Sanchez also played in the friendly.
