Alex Song's first 'surprise' as he starts his new life in Russia

Alex Song has had his first surprise upon his arrival in Russia.

The former Barcelona midfielder has signed for Rubin Kazan and is starting a new adventure in Eastern Europe.

Kazan is a city 800 kilometres away from Moscow. And the Cameroonian has started to observe how the people live their life there.

With a caption of 'Pool time', he posted a photo of a man taking a dip... in the back of his pick-up truck. He had filled it with water to enjoy a makeshift pool in 28 degree heat. 

What is clear is that Song will have plenty of interesting things to take pictures of as he starts his new life in Russia.
