Mexican side wanted to reuinte Victor Valdes and Ronaldinho

Mexican team Queretraro wanted Ronaldinho and Valdes to cross paths again but could not reach an agreement with the goalkeeper.

The Brazilian midfielder is a real attraction for the Aztec team in the Mexican league, but they had no such luck in bringing in the Spanish stopper.

"There was no agreement, there was not a good situation, also the physical matter of Valdes after the operation was one of the points to be determined," said the club's president, Joaquin Beltran.

The cost of Valdes' wages would also have been prohibative. The goalkeeper is currently training with Manchester United in England.
