Dele Alli will miss the game at the Bernabeu through suspension

Pochettino is also without Erik Lamela, Danny Rose & Victor Wanyama

Tottenham Hotspur travelled to Madrid on Monday ahead of Tuesday's Champions League match against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Mauricio Pochettino's side, who have won both their games in the competition so far against Borussia Dortmund (3-1) and APOEL Nicosia (0-3), are level with Madrid at the top of the group.

However, the former Espanyol coach is missing several players for the game in the Spanish capital, with Dele Alli, Erik Lamela, Danny Rose and Victor Wanyama all unavailable.

Alli is suspended but the other three are all currently sidelined with injury problems.

Madrid, meanwhile, have their own fitness doubts, although were boosted on Monday by the inclusion of Keylor Navas and Sergio Ramos in training at Valdebebas.

However, Zinedine Zidane is without Dani Carvajal, Mateo Kovacic and Gareth Bale, who misses the chance to face his former club.

The fact that there are 4,200 Spurs supporters in Madrid has led to an increase in security for the match.
