Zinedine Zidane's words on a potential deal for Neymar to join Madrid
The French coach was asked about a potential move for the Brazilian
Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane was not able to avoid questions about his team's interest in Neymar.
"I will not speak to you about a player who is not mine," said Zidane, when asked about the former Barcelona star.
Asked about the reported figure of 400m that Madrid are willing to pay for the PSG winger, Zidane said: "I think they paid 200 or 220 million euros for him. It is what it is. I remember when they bought me it was 72m or something. Then that seemd craxy to me. 10 years later they are paying 220 million. It could be that in 10 years from here it gets to 400 million."
Later, Zidane said: "I will not answer that," to another Ney question, adding: "Neymar would fit in at all clubs because he's very good, like a lot of players."
