Bale has had a torrid time with injuries since he joined Madrid

Zinedine Zidane did not want to speak about the severity of the in injury to Gareth Bale, who is one of the Real Madrid players currently out of action. 

While Zidane confirmed that Keylor Navas is back for Madrid's Champions League clash with Tottenham on Tuesday, he was much more cautious when pressed on Bale. 

"We will see tomorrow if he plays," Zidane said of goalkeeper Navas. "He's already back with us and he's trained well, without any problems." 

However, he couldn't even confirm it Bale would be ready for the return match against his former side in two weeks time in London. 

"I can't tell you if he is going to be fit for the second match," Zidane said of the Welshman's calf problem.

"I hope he will be with us soon. It would be great to have him in London, but I can't take it for granted.

"We are still missing one or two players, but step by step, we are getting into things and I believe we will find our rhythm."

Madrid are also without right-back Dani Carvajal and midfielder Mateo Kovacic.
