Zidane sees Real Madrid's game against Borussia Dortmund as a final

The French coach is keen to win the game despite the fact qualification is already guaranteed

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane says his players will not relax against Borussia Dortmund. Both teams have qualified for the Champions League knockout rounds, but the Spanish side need to win if they want to finish above the German side at the top of the group.

The Madrid boss, after training at Valdebebas, was very clear:  "It's a final. We want to win the game tomorrow. We're only thinking about winning, We're not going to look at or think about other things. We want to finish top of the group."

"We're going into the game looking for a win. We're preparing everything the best we can. We want to have the right mentality, intensity and will look for a quick, early goal.

"You have to highlight the side's work. Each player is very professional, all working very hard, experienced but still hungry. They've won a lot but they still want to win more and more and this is good for me."

Zidane also had to respond to questions about Benzema and his bad run of form in front of goal: "The team and Benzema are fine. He scored in the Champions League. He's fine. He's scored important goals. We always ask for more, as is normal, but he's fine.

"I'm not worried about Benzema at all. He can always give more but then everyone can. He's training well, playing well and there's games when we might need more from him but he's doing well. I'm not worried about him. He's training hard, working hard and is ready for any game."
