The Madrid press are not happy with Zidane's trust in the BBC

There are already names being lined up to replace the Frenchman

Zinedine Zidane's job may be under threat. The Clasico defeat on Sunday has hurt (a lot) the press in the capital and the criticism is being sent in the same direction. The French coach is being doubted and there are already names being sounded out as possible replacements in the case he is left without La Liga or the Champions League -- Madrid play Atletico in the semi-final.

'Marca' and 'AS' are blunt in their criticism of the coach and it does not seem casual. The first criticism focuses on the fact that the coach from Marseille has been left alone in his obsession to play the BBC despite the fact that -- for example -- Gareth Bale was out of form after his injury and barely contributed anything before he had to be taken off, injured again.

'AS' follow the line that Madrid are already looking for a replacement if the season ends trophy-less. In this sense, they brings the name of the Germany coach, Joachim Löw, despite having a contract until Euro 2020, to the table. But the Madrid-based newspaper point out that Löw has a clause in his contract that says he can leave if there's an agreement with a 'big' European club.

And, in addition, two more names have come to the fore, both coaches in the Premier League: Antonio Conte (Chelsea) and Mauricio Pochettino (Tottenham). In both cases, they are coaches with long-term contracts... but the machinery has already been put into place in the case that Madrid's season ends in tatters.
