The Madrid captain was asked about the booing of the Barça defender

Ramos says it's not up to him to change people's opinions

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos spoke about the jeers and whistles received by Barcelona defender Gerard Pique at the Mutua Open in Madrid this week, where he was watching the tennis on his days off.

Each time cameras showed Pique on the large screen at the event in the Spanish capital, there were loud jeers -- to the point that the match referee even had to ask for the crowd to be quiet at one point.

During a press conference on Tuesday ahead of Madrid's Champions League game against Atletico Madrid this week, Ramos was aksed for his opinion on the booing.

Ramos did not come out in defence of Pique, despite being international team-mates, instead saying: "What can I say to you? If I go to Barcelona then the same [would] happen to me. I'm not going to change people. Each person defends their patch and that's that."
