Sergio Ramos doesn't want to talk about Real Madrid winning the treble

He insisted that the players are only thinking about the game against German side Dortmund

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos was tasked with speaking to the media to preview Wednesday's Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund.

He was optimistic about his side's chances this season on all fronts, but also wanted to bring the expectation levels down a little bit.

"We're only thinking about winning tomorrow and winning the group," Ramos said, also adding that "we have not spoke about winning the treble.

"Our objective is to win against a great rival in Dortmund. To win the Champions League you have to take on whoever you get and that's own to the draw. Tomorrow first up we've got Dortmund. It will be a great game. a hard, difficult game against a big team.

"Then we'll see what happens. We'll face a great team that deserves to be in the knockout phase."

The Madrid defender also praised his coach Zidane, who has Madrid unbeaten in 33 games in all competitions: "Zizou has that kind of magic that dazzles you. The dynamic of the group is going in the right direction and following a great line. We have a lot of harmony.

"He's more sympathetic than what we had before. His merit is there for all to see and we're happy. I'm happy he's in charge of the boat, we're working hard both physically and mentally."
