'GloboEsporte' say the two clubs are now working on a fee

Talks are advanced and a deal could be announced this week

Real Madrid full-back Danilo is close to moving to Chelsea. According to Brazilian media GloboEsporte, he has reached an agreement with the London club and it's not up to the two clubs to agree a fee.

Danilo has the support of Chelsea coach Antonio Conte, who has pushed for his signing. The right-back, meanwhile, has decided it's best for his career if he leaves the Santiago Bernabeu in search of minutes. At Stamford Bridge, in theory, he will be in direct competition with Cesar Azpilicueta, although it's morel likely he's been signed for the wing back role played by Victor Moses last season.

Talks between the two clubs are also said to be advanced and everything could be made official in the coming days. Madrid are ready to sell the Brazilian, who is second choice to Dani Carvajal, as long as they get near to the 30 million euros they paid Porto two years ago.

The press in England have claimed Pep Guardiola's Manchester City are also keen on the Madrid man. The Times said they want him to compete with new signing Kyle Walker, while Juventus have also asked Madrid about his availability.
