Los Blancos don't have a clear answer from the player on if he will renew his deal or not

They have offered him six million euros a year but he wants 10 per season to stay

Real Madrid aren’t just afraid of Isco leaving the club, they’re also afraid that he will leave at the end of his contract and not bring in a single euro. So they are trying to work out what he will do if he will not extend his contract, which ends on June 30, 2018.

According to a report on Deportes Cuatro, Los Blancos know that if Isco does not renew his deal they will have trouble next season. They will not use him in the team and he will have to spend a whole year in the stands, before being able to join another side at the end of the season.

Madrid, according to the same source, are willing to sell Isco but not before renewing his deal to safeguard against the idea he could leave for free.

However their priority is to keep hold of the player. Madrid have offered him a six year deal with six million euros a season. However the first offer was not liked by the Andalusian, according to La Vanguardia, who say he wants 10m each season.
