Real Madrid put a price on Marco Asensio amid Premier League interest

Manchester United are said to be the latest side to ask about the attacking midfielder

Real Madrid have put a price on Marco Asensio amid interest from various Premier League clubs. According to the 'Daily Star', Jose Mourinho's Manchester United are the latest side to shown an interest.

The British newspaper says United have asked for a price for Asensio and Real Madrid have given them one. Los Blancos want 40 million pounds (around 44 million euros) for the young attacking midfielder.

It's a high price for a player who has not had a lot of chances in Zinedine Zidane's side. Asensio has a contract until 2022 at the Santiago Bernabeu having returned from a loan spell at Espanyol last summer.

Arsenal and Chelsea are also reportedly keen on the 21-year-old, who was once a possible target for Barcelona.
