The Madrid players didn't forget Pique as they celerated their league title

They also mentioned Atletico as the partied back in the Spanish capital

Gerard Pique was one of the protagonists as Real Madrid's celebrated their league title at Cibeles. The name of the FC Barcelona defender was sung by the Los Blancos players as they parties into the night.

"Pique, cabron, salute the champions," sung the Madrid players, as well as the fans gathered at Cibeles as Sunday became Monday.

It's a similar chant to one sung by Samuel Eto'o in 2005 -- "Madrid, cabron, salute the champion" -- and the then Barça forward was forced to apologise for insulting his former club. Let's see if the same happens here.

As Madrid celebrated their first title in five years, they also remembered their neighbour Atletico Madrid, who they knocked out of the Champions League in the semifinal recently.

"Indios, tell me how you feel," they sang in reference to the recent banners the two sides exchanged in that European semifinal.
