The two star men are not joining up with the squad yet

Man United, Man City, Barcelona and an MLS combo side are in the mix for Madrid

Real Madrid are on the way to LA to start preseason in the USA, without James Rodriguez, who has been loaned to Bayern Munich, U21 players Jesus Vallejo, Marcos Llorente, Marco Asensio and Borja Mayoral. On top of that, they are missing star men Sergio Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo, who have more holiday than the others.

Florentino Perez, the president, saw off the players one by one at the club's sports complex. Ramos will join next Thursday, while Ronaldo has the most time off due to his participation in the Confederations Cup.

The tour will stretch until August 3. There will be 10 days of physical preparation and after that they will play various friendlies ahead of the Spanish and European Super Cups.

On July 23 they face Manchester United, on the 27th they play Man City and on the 30th they finish the month against Barcelona in Miami. They will finally play a game against an MLS mixer team on August 3.

Then on the 8th of August they face Man United again in Skopje, Macedonia, in the European Super Cup. On the 13th and 16th they play Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup. Their flight is set to land around 4am Madrid time.
