Incidencias

Partido de la 9ª jornada de la Liga Santander disputado en el estadio Santiago Bernabéu en presencia de 70.000 espectadores.

Eibar countered a few times but lacked the killer instinct to take advantage and Madrid were comfortable, even though Cristiano Ronaldo offered nothing up front.

The onus instead fell to Asensio and the dazzling Isco, the latter of whom crossed for the former in the 28th minute, to volley home.

Madrid had chances after that with Ronaldo and substitute Benzema wasteful, before Marcelo scored a neat third with a low effort from the edge of the area to round things off.

The victory means they sit five points behind Barcelona and one behind Valencia, but are one ahead of Atletico Madrid.
