L'Equipe say the French side could offer up to 150 million euros

PSG are hoping to take advantage of the player's tax problems in Spain

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is wanted by Paris Saint-Germain, per reports in France.

The French club view the Portuguese international's tax problems in Spain as a chance to make a move to sign a player they've been interested in on and off for five seasons.

PSG are monitoring the situation and looking into doing a deal for Ronaldo, according to French newspaper L'Equipe on Wednesday.

According to the same report, the offer PSG are drawing up for the 32-year old is between 100 and 150 million euros.

On top of that, the Ligue 1 runners-up will also have to attempt to convince Ronaldo with an important salary offer, too.

It's not the first time they have shown an interest in him -- remember the hug and exchange of words between Ronaldo and then PSG coach Laurent Blanc a couple of seasons ago.

Meanwhile, reports in England say Manchester United may not make a move for their former star.
