A new controversy surrounding Malaga’s clash with Real Madrid on the final day of the season. According to El Desmarque, the Andalusian side will receive a million euros if Los Blancos win La Liga, because of a clause in the deal for Isco Alarcon. He was sold by Malaga for 27m euros to Madrid with some variables in the deal. One of them was paying an extra million if Madrid win the league. This contract expires at the end of next season. If Madrid win next season and this season, Malaga would get 1m each time.
In the last few days controversy has exploded around the game. Quotes from Malaga coach Michel, a former Madrid man, and president Al Thani have raised suspicions that Malaga do not want to beat Madrid and stop them winning the title.
