Keylor Navas contradicts Dani Carvajal over Madrid's chances
The Madrid goalkeeper said that his team will fight for the title until the end
Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas recognised his team suffered during the game against Valencia and contradicted Dani Carvajal by saying they had not given up on La Liga.
He told beIN Sports: "We know the league is very difficult but we will give everything we have, we're not throwing in the towel. He who thinks we will not fight in every game until the end to finish as high as possible is very mistaken. We are Madrid and we will never give up."
Navas said, after the 4-1 win at Mestalla: "Thanks to God we had a great game, that's the most important thing. In some moments we had to suffer but we did not lose our personality and later the goals came."
Consistency
Navas added: "The team has played well for a lot of games. it's not a secret that we have played very badly too, we know that. What we need is consistency. With games like these we come out stronger."
On Valencia: "They are a great opponent, in their stadium, the fans support them and the players give everything, so it's not easy. When you get to a stadium like this and think they won't make any chances against you, you're mistaken."
