"If that's what he wants, he has to do it and be ready to manage the situation"

Former Brazil international Kaka believes that if his compatriot Neymar wants to go to Real Madrid "he has to do it" and prepare psychologically for what would come with the transfer.

Kaka says that a potential switch from Paris Saint-Germain to the Spanish capital would increase the pressure on the former Barcelona forward.

"It's a personal decision," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "If he signs for Madrid now, maybe they'll say he only went to Paris to build a bridge to get to Madrid. But if that's what he wants, he has to do it and be ready to manage the situation."

"There's always a lot of pressure on him. In Brazil it's incredible, they speak about his performances, his class... but also about his hairstyle and the bags he carries. He's a great player, but also a celebrity and it's not easy to manage all that."

The former San Paolo, Milan, Real Madrid and Orlando City player also believes that it's too early to compate Neymar with other Brazil legends such as Pele.

"It's too soon to say," he added. "Neymar's 26 and is reaching the age of more maturity. He's one of the candidates to win the Ballon d'Or in the coming years, though, because he is growing.

"Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, due to their age, will have to go through a dip, but you can't say when that will happen. Cristiano is 22 and it's a positive surprise, a privilege to see what he's doing on the pitch."
