Sergio Ramos was not impressed with Isco's attitude

The midfielder did not react well to being taken off

Real Madrid's loss to Espanyol had consequences. The poor performance of the players at Cornella-El Prat led to serious incidents in the dressing room after the game. One player, Isco, was at the centre of the controversy.

Isco Alarcón was taken off by Zinedine Zidane but he didn't take his substitution well. The French coach decided to take him off for Karim Benzema in search of the win, with the score goalless. Isco showed his apathy with a visibly annoyed reaction, taking 45 seconds to leave the pitch.

Sergio Ramos told the midfielder off for his lack of consideration towards his team-mate and his poor attitude. According to the journalist Jose Luis Sanchez, the Madrid captain told him that "at Madrid, you have to leave the pitch by running."

As well as commenting on that specific moment, Ramos added that "you have to show [a good] attitude" to suggest that several players didn't as Madrid were beaten by Espanyol. Zidane's side are 14 points behind league leaders Barcelona and have played a game more.
