Gareth Bale returns to Real Madrid and is greeted with insults by fans
The Welshman drove to the club's training ground for his medical but wasn't exactly met with welcoming arms outside the facility
The second era under Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid begins today.
The players who weren't involved in the Copa America have arrived at Valdebebas. Toni Kroos for the first to get there and he was followed by Rodrygo, Carvajal, Nacho and Bale, amongst others.
However not everyone was greeted in the same way. Carvajal received applause from supporters as he exited the facilities. Bale, on the other hand, wasn't so fortunate.
The Welshman has struggled to win over the supporters despite playing a crucial role in their most recent successes. He was subject to various insults and attacks, one could clearly be heard shouting "Ingrate!" at Bale.
As things stand, Bale is expected to begin preseason with Real Madrid. Will anybody make a bid for the former Premier League star?
