The conversation which Madrid maintained with Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe last week, revealed by French newspaper L'Equipe, has led to questions over Florentino Perez and Zinedine Zidane's loyalty towards their two biggest stars, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale.
Reports detail that the Madrid president and his coach have done everything they can to seduce Mbappe and convince him to join the club immediately. To persuade him, they guaranteed him regular minutes, which the player is demanding ahead of the World Cup in Russia, and they've said they will make him the best player in the world. A lack of loyalty in every sense towards Ronaldo and Bale.
To compelte the first promise, Zidane and Prez guaranteed the France international that he will be a starter. Therefore, one of the three members of the Madrid trident won't have a place in the side, with Mbappe told that his arrival would break up the BBC and that one of them would, possibly, leave.

Despite Ronaldo's threat to leave Spain due to the tax accusations hanging over his head, Perez is convinced that the Portuguese international will remain at Madrid this summer. In sporting terms and, above all, economic ones, Madrid need CR7. Karim Benzema is also essential as far as Zidane is concerned. The same cannot be said for Bale, the member of the BBC who is most likely to leave the Santiago Bernabeu with no shortage of Premier League interest.
With the signing of Mbappe, Perez is suggesting Bale is available. Madrid spent 100 million euros on the Welshman to hide their frustration at missing out on Neymar. The Madrid president has protected Bale until now but may be ready to sell him to Manchester United.
Ronaldo is the other victim of Perez and Zidane's betrayal. Both have guaranteed Mbappe that if he signs for Madrid he will have everything in his favour to become the best player on the planet. A clear desire of Ronaldo's, who may not tolerate Los Blancos placing him in second place after the appearance of the young French star.
