CR7 has decided to leave Madrid and has told his agent he wants United return

The English club aren't sure how possible it will be to do a deal for the Portugal star

Since Cristiano Ronaldo was accused of tax evasion in Spain, news about the Real Madrid forward has been non-stop.

The Portuguese forward wants to leave Madrid and has even communicated to his agent, Jorge Mendes, what his preferences would be in the case that he is able to leave the Santiago Bernabeu.

According ro ‘Sky Sport’ and ‘A Bola’, he has asked Mendes to take him to Manchester United and his agent has got in touch with the Premier League side to try to facilitate a return.

Ronaldo, who is currently at the Confederations Cup, has always maintained great affection for his former club United and would be ready to return.

However, reports in England say United are sceptical about the possibility of the player leaving Madrid. The problem is he signed a new deal at the end of 2016 until 2021 and his release clause is 1000 million euros.

An added problem is the relations between the two clubs, the presence of Jose Mourinho and the clubs' crossed interest in Alvaro Morata and David De Gea.

Ronaldo played for United between 2003 and 2008 and in that period under Sir Alex Ferguson won one Club World Cup, one Champions League, three Premier Leagues, one FA Cup, two League Cups and two Community Shields.
