The forward was spotted swallowing a pill ahead of the game against Betis, with journalist Vicente Azpitarte saying own Twitter that it was a glucose tablet. Sugar, to give him energy in a short space of time.
That Ronaldo has to take a sugar tablet doesn’t speak well of the player’s fitness and energy levels, but only he knows his body and perhaps he was taking it to avoid dizziness.
