Cristiano Ronaldo, the Real Madrid star, has named the players he considers his rivals as the best players in the world. In an interview with ESPN, the Portuguese said Leo Messi is not his only rival.
“I have healthy competition, but competition to be the best. Of course I fight with everyone, with Neymar, with Messi, Lewandowski, Higuain… My motivation is to be better than them every year”, the Portuguese said.
“The best players always follow the best players. You can’t sleep because then they will leave you behind. I want to be better than them and I motivate myself to achieve that”, Ronaldo said on his tour of Asia.
The player is scheduled to join up with Real Madrid on 5 August, so it seems unlikely he will play in the Spanish Super Cup on 8 August.
